Quality First Educational Series

“A series of education and collaboration seminars, attended by both providers and regulators, will result in a higher level of compliance with the State and Federal regulations.” Says Daniel Mathis, President / CEO NVHCA. The series began in January 2011 and will continue, every other month, through 2014, (see calendar for dates)

One important NVHCA goal is to establish a more collaborative and better working relationship between providers and regulators.  This effort began in a meeting with three top administrators from the State.  Richard Whitley, Administrator of the State Health Division, attended this meeting as did Marla McDade-Williams, Deputy Administrator, who is also a former Chief of the Bureau of the health Care Quality and Compliance (HCQC).  Wendy Simons, current Bureau Chief, was also present.
