“Food, to me, is always about cooking and eating with those you love and care for.”
~David Chang

Dietary Managers and Food Service Staff in long term care can identify with this belief. Having strong leadership and customer service skills, and the desire to enhance your understanding of nutrition and food service, you are an essential ingredient to creating a positive dining experience that can boost residents’ overall quality of life. As professionals, you are key players in upholding residents’ rights, honoring individual choices and preferences and treating residents with the respect and dignity they deserve. The Dietary Mini Boot Camp is a one-day course designed specifically for Dietary Managers and Food Service Professionals who serve in various roles. The goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide top quality, pleasant, person centered dining opportunities while also complying with regulatory requirements and, most of all, promoting the health and well-being of residents in your care.
