The Nevada Center for Assisted Living (NVCAL) is the assisted living voice of the Nevada Health Care Association (NVHCA). NVCAL is dedicated to serving the needs of the assisted living community through advocacy, education, networking, professional development, and quality initiatives. Assisted living communities are another long term care option in the long term care continuum for seniors that are able to live more independently, and who do not require the regular medical care offered in a skilled nursing facility.
In addition to advocacy, NVCAL works to create local education, advocate on behalf of assisted living providers, and provide the direct, ongoing support for assisted living members to them improve quality and grow their businesses.
