Paige Hector is a clinical educator and professional speaker with over 25 years’ experience in post-acute and long term care settings. She specializes in clinical operations for the interdisciplinary team, advance care planning and end-of-life care, and sustainable process improvement. Paige is passionate about simplifying processes, improving resident outcomes, and helping staff find, and keep, the joy of working in post-acute and long-term care settings.
Paige is a member of the Annual Conference Program Planning Committee for The Society for Post-Acute and Long Term Care Medicine (AMDA) and has served multiple years as the Chair for the Spring Conference Planning Committee for the Arizona Geriatrics Society. She is the Associate Editor and a regular columnist for Caring for the Ages, the official publication for AMDA. Paige served as the National Association of Social Worker’s representative to the Joint Commission’s Professional and Technical Advisory Committee for Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers. She was named the 2018 Gerontologist of the Year for the Arizona Geriatrics Society. Paige earned a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University.

Over 30 years of experience in long-term including 8 years as a National Clinical Consultant specializing in clinical reimbursement and leading a team of Reimbursement Specialists, over 9 years as a Director of Nursing, and 5 years as an Assistant Director of Clinical Services (Consultant) for a large non-for-profit organization in which she was responsible for oversight of several facilities. Reimbursement Consultant for a multi-state Nursing Home Organization with responsibilities for reimbursement education and Medicare accuracy.
Cindy’s experience includes education of nursing home personnel, mentoring of nurses and Directors of Nursing, clinical systems and form development, department restructuring, and mock surveys. She has extensive experience in Medicare, MDS/RAI process, (AANAC certified), care planning, implementation of systems as well as a comprehensive understanding of State and Federal regulations. Cindy has achieved successful results as a clinical consultant in all aspects of clinical operations, as well as regulatory compliance.
Currently Cindy is the Director of Education for NADONA. Her role is responsible for the planning, direction and implementation of all Educational projects and pursuits within NADONA.
